On the other side of the city of Hana is another "famous" destination - the Seven Sacred Pools.

We learned that the Seven Sacred Pools of Hana is just a name given to the O'heo Gulch by the Hotel Hana in 1947 in order to attract visitors to the falls. There are really more than 7 pools, and there is nothing really sacred about them.

This picture was taken of the lower O'heo falls - the final set of waterfalls before the water reaches the ocean. Again, I shot with infrared film and like the grainy, surreal look of the picture.
